Student Federations

A student may be a member of multiple federations, local to the dojo, provincial, national or worldwide.

They appear in the Student profile tab, under Federations.

Types of federations​

On top of supporting multiple federations, Bushido supports multiple types of federation renewals.

Temporary​

The temporary type of federation renewal is used primarily to have a probation period for federations that are less than a year. This can be used in a scenario where when a member signs up, they have a 3 month probationary federation, until they can fully pay their dues.

Initial​

Initial is considered their first full federation membership. There is no functional difference between initial and renewal, it is only for your records, and the reporting output.

Renewal​

Renewal is used for any federation renewal added to the student whenever either a renewal or initial already exist for the student. No matter what the type is when creating the product(as federation type initial or renewal), if there is already an initial or renewal on their acccount, the new type will be considered renewal.
